Boston College became familiar with Mountain West football this season. Familiar with losing thereto as well.

More from Football

The Eagles have seen some other teams from this conference in the past, and some of those might be series worth rekindling once in a while.

What programs might Boston College want to approach with regards to a football scheduling arrangement? What programs might want to schedule Boston College back? Finally, which ones have no idea we even exist?

Boston College Mountain West Football Schedule-A-Team: Air Force Falcons

All-Time History With Boston College: 7 games (3-4-0)
Last Faced: 1980 (BC wins, 23-0)

Travel (if necessary): About four hours by plane out to Colorado.

Mutual Interest Factor: None in over 30 years.

Intrigue Factor: Boston College going to face a service academy always inspires a patriotic spirit, especially one they have not seen in a while.

The Verdict: Would mostly schedule at home, but may be convinced to schedule away.

We see Army fairly frequently, but that’s because Orange County, New York is not that far away relatively speaking. Getting to see a team like Air Force once in a while would be a nice way to spend one of the “light” games on the schedule.

A trip out to the mountain air of Colorado Springs could once in a long while be fun, but otherwise Boston College would probably want to hold out primarily for home games.
