Boston College Mountain West Football Schedule-A-Team: Boise State Broncos
All-Time History With Boston College: 1 game (1-0-0)
Last Faced: 2005 MPC Computers Bowl (BC wins, 27-21)
Travel (if necessary): At least four hours to Boise.
Mutual Interest Factor: None, seeing as the only time they faced off was in a bowl.
Intrigue Factor: ..but a lot of us remember that bowl, being the only team over a long period to beat the Broncos on the Smurf Turf. The source of the intrigue would be nostalgia. (Seriously, who gets a home game in a bowl?)
The Verdict: Would schedule home or away.
Boise State is not the program they used to be under Chris Petersen, but they are not bad. As Mountain West teams go, this would be a quality opponent for the Eagles, but for the long distance between them.

Boston College Mountain West Football Schedule-A-Team: Colorado State Rams
All-Time History With Boston College: 2 games (1-1-0)
Last Faced: 2014 (CSU wins, 24-21)
Travel (if necessary): Something like four hours by plane to Fort Collins.
Mutual Interest Factor: Confirmed. With horrifying results, the two teams played each other just this season
Intrigue Factor: Was not much before the game, and not much now.
The Verdict: Would schedule home or away.
I would schedule away because I would like Boston College to someday return the favor in their building. In fairness to the Rams, it isn’t their fault the Eagles did not adjust at halftime.
