Boston College is already set for a bowl game next month, while Syracuse is playing their 2014 finale. Senior Day on the Heights will be an emotional one for the young men leaving us, but their objective is to avenge their last-second loss to the Orange last season and wrap up with a 7-5 record.

Syracuse at Boston College: Initial Evaluation
There was no question Boston College would enter this game as the favorite. Ten points might seem a little bit excessive, but that is probably based off of how well the Eagles played at Florida State, and how poorly Syracuse has played overall.
Given that this is a rivalry game, it may yet prove to be excessive. Also recall that the Eagles have not played all that well at Alumni Stadium this season — they had a good game against USC, a good half against Maine, and the rest were not better.
Syracuse’s main problem is that they have a bad offense. The Eagles’ defense calmed down against FSU, holding the Seminoles to their lowest point total of the season. The Orange may have a great deal of trouble scoring.
