2014 Boston College Football: Florida State Gameday Morning

facebooktwitterreddit

Florida State gameday morning brings one last opportunity for the Boston College Eagles to do something big with their 2014 season.

More from Football

The voters say they’re number one while the College Football Playoff committee knuckleheads say they’re number three, but Boston College wants to make sure on Saturday evening that no matter what happens, the Seminoles end up second in their game.

It will not be an easy task to beat a team that has not lost in two years, but Rome fell and John Wooden’s UCLA team eventually lost (granted, the former took about 500 years and the latter took a couple). Someday, Florida State will lose again, and Boston College is going to try to make it today. While they may not be successful, they enter the contest with the knowledge that many are lining up behind them.

Make some room on the Eagles bandwagon today for our temporary friends from Starkville, Columbus, and Fort Worth, amongst other places. It’s nice to be in a meaningful game.
