Boston College Mountain West Football Schedule-A-Team: Fresno State Bulldogs

All-Time History With Boston College: None
Last Faced: Not applicable

Travel (if necessary): Upwards of a six-hour flight out to Fresno.

Mutual Interest Factor: Zip.

Intrigue Factor: Not in existence.

The Verdict: Would not go out of my way to schedule.

Fresno State has seen some decent days as a football program, and sports junkies in their apartments solo with nothing to do on Friday nights except watch ESPN, check OKCupid, and cry in their Blue Moons may have occasionally seen the Bulldogs play.

Outside of that, there is not much compelling these two programs to come together.

Boston College Mountain West Football Schedule-A-Team: Hawaii Warriors

All-Time History With Boston College: 1 game (1-0-0)
Last Faced: 1996 (BC wins, 24-21)

Travel (if necessary): It would be about 11 hours of flight time, but several more considering that a direct flight might be hard for the school to pull off.

Mutual Interest Factor: None lately.

Intrigue Factor: The destination is, anyway.

The Verdict: Might schedule home or away, but that is a lot to ask of either school.

Don’t say this will never happen: It already has, and Boston College went to Hawaii. Not only that, but they have played in an Aloha Bowl.

The Warriors have not fielded a competitive team since Colt Brennan checked out, but this might be worth a one-off if the other team takes a bye immediately thereafter.

If we scheduled an away game, you’d all want to go. Don’t try to deny it.
