Boston College SEC Football Schedule-A-Team: Mississippi Rebels

All-Time History With Boston College: 4 games (0-3-1)
Last Faced: 1951 (Ole Miss wins, 34-7)

Travel (if necessary): Two or three hours by plane.

Mutual Interest Factor: Going to guess none given that all four games were played within a four-year stretch during the Truman Administration.

Intrigue Factor: There might be some now given how good they are, but that’s just on our end.

The Verdict: Open to the idea, but not much more.

Scheduling Ole Miss would not make a lot of sense for either school, but it could be fun. Like every other school, their tailgate would put ours to shame, so it might be somewhat embarrassing to invite them to Boston.

Boston College SEC Football Schedule-A-Team: Mississippi State Bulldogs

All-Time History With Boston College: None
Last Faced: Not applicable

Travel (if necessary): Again, two to three hours via plane.

Mutual Interest Factor: Cannot possibly be any.

Intrigue Factor: Who could resist a meeting between teams that wear maroon?

The Verdict: Open to it, but not holding my breath.

Only recently do people outside Mississippi take notice of the Bulldogs. Why not? They could win the whole thing this year.

Thing is, we have no history with them and it is not likely to happen within any reasonable timespan. Everything we said about Ole Miss in this case also applies here: does not make sense for either school, our tailgate stinks, but it could be fun.
