Boston College SEC Football Schedule-A-Team: Kentucky Wildcats

All-Time History With Boston College: 1 game (1-0-0)
Last Faced: 1937 (BC wins, 13-0)

Travel (if necessary): No more than two hours to what is essentially the Midwest.

Mutual Interest Factor: If measured in units of distance, less than one angstrom.

Intrigue Factor: Hard to have intrigue with a school you last saw during the Depression.

The Verdict: Would be open to scheduling home or away, but not counting on it.

Boston College with a 1.000 win percentage over Kentucky would be more impressive in hoops than football, even if just over the span of one game.

As SEC teams go, Kentucky is the closest one to us geographically, so you never know, and the Eagles will be venturing out to Kentucky more when they play Louisville out there biannually. Still, if they were going to plan to meet, one would think they would get it done within 70-80 years.

Boston College SEC Football Schedule-A-Team: LSU Tigers

All-Time History With Boston College: 2 games (0-2-0)
Last Faced: 1953 (LSU wins, 42-6)

Travel (if necessary): About three hours by plane, mayhap?

Mutual Interest Factor: Yeah OK.

Intrigue Factor: Any intrigue or desire to schedule the game would probably be a one-way street. As in, towards LSU from here.

The Verdict: Would be open to a home-and-home that won’t happen.

Could you imagine the scene of Boston College playing at Death Valley in Baton Rouge? Neither can I, but if such imagery existed, that would be quite something to behold.
