Travel (if necessary): Over four hours by plane.
Mutual Interest Factor: None in any sport, really.
Intrigue Factor: None unless buffaloes are your thing.
The Verdict: Would be open to the possibility, but do not think it will happen.
The last time these two teams met, Boston College was down 45-7 at halftime. I think we would care not to repeat that, but on the bright side, they are as close to Boston as a Pac-12 team is going to get, and as seen in college hockey in very recent times, Boston College is not above taking trips out to the Rocky Mountain State.
As has been the case with a number of teams we have evaluated so far, this just would not make a lot of sense for either team, but plenty of games that don’t make sense get scheduled if the teams are sufficiently desperate.
