Boston College Pac-12 Football Schedule-A-Team: Oregon Ducks

All-Time History With Boston College: None
Last Faced: Not applicable

Travel (if necessary): About five or six hours by plane.

Mutual Interest Factor: Evidently at zero.

Intrigue Factor: Not intrigued by getting run by their offense.

The Verdict: Would certainly consider it given how big of a game it would be for Boston College, but neither school is in a rush to make it happen.

Oregon has become one hell of a football program, with their calling card being a blistering offense. Even though it would be hard to imagine Boston College winning such a game, at least it would be fun to watch, somewhat.

In all the years they have both been around, never have they played one another. This would only make sense someday if both teams were on a consistently high level.

Boston College Pac-12 Football Schedule-A-Team: Oregon State Beavers

All-Time History With Boston College: None
Last Faced: Not applicable

Travel (if necessary): More or less the same amount of time to get to Eugene.

Mutual Interest Factor: Perhaps in negative integers.

Intrigue Factor: Less than the Ducks. No offense, Oregon State, but let’s face it: you wouldn’t be thrilled, either.

The Verdict: No reason not to consider it, but also no reason to bend over backwards to make it happen.

No Ducks or Beavers in Boston College’s past, and probably no Ducks or Beavers in Boston College’s future, either.

Maybe Massachusetts and Oregon football don’t mix.
