Boston College Big Ten Football Schedule-A-Team: Purdue Boilermakers

All-Time History With Boston College: None
Last Faced: Not applicable

Travel (if necessary): About however long it takes to get to Notre Dame, except nobody is going to rent an RV for this one.

Mutual Interest Factor: Not a whole lot.

Intrigue Factor: Purdue is a pretty good academic school, so there’s that, but it does not have the same certain je ne sais quoi that a game against Northwestern would have.

The Verdict: Would be open to scheduling home or away, but would not go out of my way.

If it were not for the ACC-Big Ten challenge, these two schools would never see each other in anything. There does not appear to be any great movement to unite the Eagles and Boilermakers on the field. Scheduling a series of games as such would probably bring tepid applause from both fanbases.

I am certain that just about nobody at Boston College has anything bad to say about Purdue, but that is also because they have nothing to say about the school at all. Cannot see this one happening any time soon.
