Live from Alumni Stadium tonight on the campus of Boston College, it’s the Boston College Eagles vs. Louisville Cardinals in their first Atlantic Coast Conference meeting.

This happens to be the penultimate home game for the 6-3 Eagles this year, and almost certainly the last night game they will play on campus. There have been three in 2014, while it just happened to be dark out when the Clemson game ended. Boston College has been featured in prime time several times already, and could get the chance once more at Florida State — or perhaps at a bowl destination.
Louisville and Boston College have not met each other on the gridiron of battle in many years, but the 6-3 Cardinals will look to restart this series on the right foot. In their last contest, they lost to Florida State at home. They have had an extra few days to prepare, but they will be without defensive linemen Lorenzo Mauldin and Pio Vatuvei due to injury.
