Who can believe that it is already time for the Week 10 ACC football picks? All of us, evidently, because I am writing them and you are here reading them.

The Boston College Eagles get their pick done in an article all their own, as this site is aimed towards coverage of said team, but as for the rest of the members of the Atlantic Coast Conference playing this week, we pick both straight-up and against-the-spread. Two ways to win, or lose.

Week 10 ACC Football Picks:
Florida State (-3.5) at Louisville

Thursday, 7:30pm ET (ESPN)

Louisville is going to be wild tonight as the Seminoles are in town. Florida State flirted with disaster against Notre Dame but has been very good; a team worthy of the playoff. FSU running back Karlos Williams will play despite having had not such a good week. The Cardinals have had a fine year, but they are looking for that legitimizing win over a ranked team — let’s face it, their best win is probably Miami and their second-best might be Syracuse, which does not scream elite. I feel crazy doing this, but if you want an upset, you may have it. Louisville | Louisville +3.5

Week 10 ACC Football Picks:
Duke at Pittsburgh (-3.5)

Saturday, 12pm ET (ESPNU)

Pittsburgh had a day to forget against Georgia Tech last week; the game was over in the first quarter. They need to rebound, but Duke is likely the best team in that division right now. They can be trusted to get the job done on the road, especially given their extra week of rest. Duke | Duke +3.5

Boston College at Virginia Tech (-3)

Week 10 ACC Football Picks:
North Carolina at Miami (-14.5)

Saturday, 12:30pm ET (ESPN3)

This season, Carolina has gone from getting respect to not getting respect to trying to get respect but not. Such is the case with them being two-touchdown dogs at Miami after a few big wins to get back into the Coastal race. This could end up being a high-scoring game that Miami should win, but again, the spread is at issue. Miami | UNC +14.5

Week 10 ACC Football Picks:
NC State at Syracuse (-3.5)

Saturday, 3pm ET (ESPN3)

It’s now or never for NC State, losers of four in a row, and for Syracuse, a 3-5 team with not a lot going their way. Neither team looks particularly good, so this is based on momentum. Syracuse at least had a chance in their last game while trouncing Wake Forest, while NC State does have momentum — unfortunately for them, it’s reverse momentum. Syracuse | Syracuse -3.5

Week 10 ACC Football Picks:
Virginia at Georgia Tech (-3.5)

Saturday, 3:30pm ET (ESPNU)

Big swing game in the ACC Coastal. Virginia has just lost back-to-back games and the carriage might be in the process of turning back into a pumpkin. Georgia Tech stopped their losing streak by responding in a big way at home. The Jackets seem to inspire a bit more confidence at this point. Georgia Tech | GT -3.5
