If the Week 10 Boston College bowl projections are any indication, more and more on the outside are concluding that the Eagles will end up in the Bronx.

Of course, making a bowl game and having several different possible locations is a good problem to have, but there’s nothing like getting slotted into a game that is convenient in terms of distance traveled and time.
For a number of reasons, the Pinstripe Bowl at Yankee Stadium would be one of the more ideal destinations for the Eagles, who are a win away from qualifying.

Though there are no new bowl projections from ESPN, the most recent ones slotted Boston College in the Pinstripe Bowl.

Patrick Stevens has flipped the Eagles from a trip to Detroit to New York City, putting Boston College in the Pinstripe Bowl. This is a “Tier I” bowl, and Stevens notes that the Eagles getting here is attributable to their efforts this season.

College football guru Phil Steele now gives the Eagles a spot in the Pinstripe Bowl. In this one, Boston College would take a walk back to the Big East days in facing old foe Rutgers.

Now back to the more depressing bowl picks. Jerry Palm of CBS Sports has projected Boston College to make the Quick Lane Bowl in Detroit. There, the Eagles would face the Ohio Bobcats, who would be a MAC replacement team for the Big Ten.
