While none of us can promise that this will be an exciting football game, they are all important for the Eagles as they inch closer to bowl eligibility. In a game where the Eagles are heavily favored (14 points) despite being on the road, this is one they have to have.
Wake Forest has struggled mightily on offense throughout this 2014 season, while Boston College played one of its better defensive games of the season against the Clemson Tigers last week.
Stranger things have happened in the Atlantic Coast Conference, and in Boston College football history than Wake winning; however, there can be no more fitting tribute to this program than to win on the anniversary of the Matty Ice Thursday Night comeback at Virginia Tech.
