Some can find change to be frightening, but after at least a minute or two of consideration, we felt it was necessary to swap out the #1 team in the nation.

Week 6 College Football Rankings: Sayonara
This week, we dropped South Carolina and Duke, as well as Clemson, who probably should not have been there in the first place. Ranking (at the time) 1-2 teams is typically not what we like around here.
Week 6 College Football Rankings: Why We Did It
Florida State is a very good team. The thing is, they have not been as dominant this year as they were last year. Oregon looks very close to it and are a scarier team. That’s it; no more, no less.
