The electricity and allure of this game will be way down, and so will the attendance, but Boston College still has a mission to complete: beat a team you’re supposed to beat and put another win in the bank. A victory today would get the Eagles half-way to bowl eligibility with still another game to be played in September. It is a tremendous opportunity for the team to rack up some wins before the schedule turns more difficult in October.

Is it going to be a 3-1 start to the season as expected, or will Boston College have the tables turned on them following last week’s epic victory over the USC Trojans?

Only time will tell, but not that much time, as the game is going to begin soon.
