Ranking the 2011 BC football schedule by difficulty, 6th-1st

Virginia Tech are the defending ACC champions (even though the Orange Bowl didn’t go so well), and they beat BC in Massachusetts last season. BC winning at Lane Stadium is nothing new (thank you Matt Ryan), but that was four years ago. Lately, the Eagles haven’t done particularly well against the Hokies. Logan Thomas is the new quarterback taking over for Tyrod Taylor – the reviews I’ve read of his scrimmage performances haven’t exactly been stellar – and David Wilson is taking over at running back for Ryan Williams. It’s not that I don’t think they’ll do well, or that the Hokies won’t be good, because they will, but losing those players may end up changing the complexion of their offense. They’re still going to be a very tough out.
