Boston College Conference USA Football Schedule-A-Team: UAB Blazers

All-Time History With Boston College: None
Last Faced: Not applicable

Travel (if necessary): Perhaps as much as three hours by plane to get to Birmingham, but it can be done in less.

Mutual Interest Factor: Not at all.

Intrigue Factor: Do they know we exist?

The Verdict: Might only consider a one-off at Alumni Stadium, but it is not happening.

A game against UAB at Alumni Stadium, in the unlikely event it ever happens, might trick some Mary Jane enthusiasts into attending the game. Short of that, this does not hold a lot of appeal and neither school is interested.

Boston College Schedule-A-Team: UTEP Miners

All-Time History With Boston College: None
Last Faced: Not applicable

Travel (if necessary): Probably upwards of four hours to go to El Paso. Whatever travel difficulties the team ran into going to New Mexico State would manifest themselves here.

Mutual Interest Factor: I don’t see any.

Intrigue Factor: Er, they would be new and different?

The Verdict: Like most others, I would be open to a one-off at home, which I cannot in any way see happening.

UTEP playing Boston College would be a very strange pairing. Then again, so was New Mexico State. You never know.
