Boston College Conference USA Football Schedule-A-Team: UTSA Roadrunners

All-Time History With Boston College: None
Last Faced: Not applicable

Travel (if necessary): Over three hours by plane out to San Antonio.

Mutual Interest Factor: They have had a Division I program for such a short time that there cannot possibly be any.

Intrigue Factor: Well, no.

The Verdict: I keep saying I would be open to a one-off at home, but let’s be honest, not happening.

So, this is where Larry Coker ended up. I see.

Nov 8, 2014; Bowling Green, KY, USA; Western Kentucky running back Leon Allen (33) is lifted by his teammates after scoring to make it 35-27 in the fourth quarter during the Hilltoppers game at Houchens Industries-L.T. Smith Stadium. WKU won 35-27. Mandatory Credit: Brian Powers-USA TODAY Sports

Boston College Conference USA Football Schedule-A-Team: Western Kentucky Hilltoppers

All-Time History With Boston College: None
Last Faced: Not applicable

Travel (if necessary): A few hours out to Kentucky by plane.

Mutual Interest Factor: Not really.

Intrigue Factor: Not really, but they can be fun to watch at hoops tournament time. That is completely irrelevant, by the way.

The Verdict: Would schedule for a one-off at home, might under extreme circumstances schedule away.

Boston College ran the table: not one game against any Conference USA teams, ever.

That is unlikely to change as we are probably not going to see Western Kentucky or any other C-USA football team for the foreseeable future.
