Mutual Interest Factor: And also the same as if Boston College were dealing with FAU. The Eagles played them in hoops when Richard Pitino was coach, but that’s it.
Intrigue Factor: Non existent.
The Verdict: Would only schedule for a one-off at home.
Virtually everything said about Florida Atlantic in the previous slide applies. FIU was relevant in football for about ten minutes or so when Mario Cristobal had a good season there; not so any longer.

It is hard for us to have any opinions on teams we never see, but what we can say is that Louisiana Tech does not have the cache to dictate to an ACC school about scheduling. Thing is, they have way more local options for scheduling, in and out of the ACC. I am reasonably confident in saying neither is on the other’s radar.
