Boston College SEC Football Schedule-A-Team: Arkansas Razorbacks

All-Time History With Boston College: None
Last Faced: Not applicable

Travel (if necessary): Three hours perhaps by plane.

Mutual Interest Factor: There is none.

Intrigue Factor: Lacks the je ne sais quoi that Alabama would have.

The Verdict: Would be open to scheduling home or away, though it is clear that neither team would.

It’s going to be very hard for Boston College fans to say anything bad about Arkansas. Likewise, Arkansas fans might not be aware that Boston College has a football team.

It is not like we recruit down there, nor they up here. This is a hard matchup to picture on the football field, though few would likely be opposed to it.

Boston College SEC Football Schedule-A-Team: Auburn Tigers

All-Time History With Boston College: 3 games (2-1-0)
Last Faced: 1982 Tangerine Bowl (Auburn wins, 33-26)

Travel (if necessary): Whatever it also takes to get to the University of Alabama by plane, plus or minus 20 minutes.

Mutual Interest Factor: Starts with “Z” and rhymes with “hero.”

Intrigue Factor:

The Verdict: Would schedule home or away, but not surprisingly, it is not going to happen any time soon.

Imagine that: Boston College is 5-2 all-time against Alabama and Auburn. Maybe we shouldn’t schedule them again just so we can continue to tell people about that win percentage.

Seriously though, we will not have to worry about it. Auburn and Boston College may run into each other in another bowl down the road, which will be the extent of the interaction between these programs. The only Boston College connection the school has is their basketball coach.
