Intrigue Factor: No offense to Utah, but do you see any?
The Verdict: Not completely opposed to it if it happened, but neither side will expend the effort to make it happen.
Yet another Pac-12 team with which Boston College has no history. That could have been different if the Eagles actually beat Syracuse in that horrible loss they suffered in 2004. If so, they would have made the 2005 Fiesta Bowl and summarily gotten their keesters handed to them by Urban Meyer.
Unless Boston College draws Utah in a bowl, which is at least to some extent possible, they are unlikely to see one another for a long time.
