Boston College Pac-12 Football Schedule-A-Team: Washington Huskies

All-Time History With Boston College: None
Last Faced: Not applicable

Travel (if necessary): Probably about six hours out to rainy Seattle.

Mutual Interest Factor: Not even a little.

Intrigue Factor: The only item of real intrigue here is that who wouldn’t love to go see a game in that stadium?

The Verdict: Unopposed to it, but the schools probably are.

Nothing wrong with Washington on our end; they’ve been a solid program for a while and now they have Chris Petersen as coach. Only issue is we have no opinion on them because we’ve never actually seen them. I’m still sure they exist; we just never play them.

Nobody at either school is going to move mountains to make it work, though a trip to Seattle someday would be very different.

Boston College Pac-12 Football Schedule-A-Team: Washington State Cougars

All-Time History With Boston College: None
Last Faced: Not applicable

Travel (if necessary): A little shorter of a flight than Seattle, but to the middle of nowhere in southeastern Washington state.

Mutual Interest Factor: No sir.

Intrigue Factor: Only in that we would get to see Mike Leach, a guy some wanted to hire as Boston College’s head coach.

The Verdict: Not going to happen, but no strong feelings about it.

That’s six teams in the current Pac-12 that Boston College has never faced, with only a grand total of 13 games played amongst the whole lot.

Boston College has not faced either side of the Apple Cup, at least not in football. Cannot imagine that either school has even slight interest for a variety of reasons, including travel, things in common, recruiting, or any other mutual benefits which could be derived.
