Boston College Pac-12 Football Schedule-A-Team: UCLA Bruins

All-Time History With Boston College: None
Last Faced: Not applicable

Travel (if necessary): We know the way out to Los Angeles after last season.

Mutual Interest Factor: Evidently non-existent.

Intrigue Factor: There would have to be a little considering that these programs have been around for a while, but it would not be very overwhelming.

The Verdict: If we can play the Trojans, we can play them, right?

It is a little surprising that Boston College has now played five games against USC but none against UCLA. In a sense, it might be more surprising that Boston College has played that many against the Trojans, not that the Eagles have never faced the Bruins.

For a night in September, Boston College was probably UCLA’s favorite team. You’re welcome.

Boston College Pac-12 Football Schedule-A-Team: USC Trojans

All-Time History With Boston College: 5 games (1-4-0)
Last Faced: 2014 (BC wins, 37-31)

Travel (if necessary): Six hours out to Los Angeles by plane.

Mutual Interest Factor: Confirmed. Boston College and USC just completed a home-and-home series over the past two seasons.

Intrigue Factor: It was certainly intriguing for Boston College.

The Verdict: Would schedule again home or away, though it may be some time before the two teams see one another again.

The home-and-home against USC was fun — at least half of it, anyway. These two schools should do it again sometime. This won’t be for a while, mind you, but Boston College and USC have scheduled each other in a few sports in recent years and maybe the cooperation between the Eagles and Trojans will continue.
