Mutual Interest Factor: What do you know: another Big 12 team that probably would not be interested.
Intrigue Factor: The Pokes have been a fine program in recent years, but despite their being a Big 12 program, the game would probably have limited appeal even within the Boston College fanbase. I can only assume the feeling would be mutual amongst Cowboys fans.
The Verdict: Would consider it if any interest existed, but not a high-profile matchup and neither team stands to gain much.
When Boston College fans think of Oklahoma State, those thoughts may include T. Boone Pickens writing gigantic checks and Mike Gundy screaming that he’s a man and he’s 40, but little else. There is no history of which to speak between these two schools and clearly, they are not interfering in the recruiting footprint of one another. Let them be.
