Travel (if necessary): Airplane only, and about four hours perhaps into the vast plains of Kansas.
Mutual Interest Factor: One would think it is zero.
Intrigue Factor: One would also think this is zero.
The Verdict: Might consider scheduling, though it would probably not be of great benefit to us and do not see it happening in the near future.
We have seen this meeting more times in basketball than we have in football. The basketball one does offer some intrigue as far as Boston College is concerned, but the football one, yeesh. Back in the day when all of Mark Mangino roamed the sidelines, the Jayhawks had some good seasons. Those days are long, long gone.
A football game between these two teams would probably not do much for the other, which is probably why it has not happened yet.
