Boston College Schedule-A-Team: Memphis Tigers

All-Time History With Boston College: None
Last Faced: Not applicable

Travel (if necessary): Doable by plane. It would be about a three-hour trip through the friendly skies.

Mutual Interest Factor: Evidently none. The Tigers’ football program has played about 100 seasons, and not once have they ever faced Boston College, even in a bowl game.

Intrigue Factor: None. Memphis has had some rough years as a program, and the two schools are not a great fit.

The Verdict: Would not go out of my way to schedule.

Memphis and Boston College are not even on each other’s radars. Their future non-conference opponents are more regional, featuring such teams as Missouri State, Ole Miss, and Bowling Green.

They’re doing their thing in the South, and we’re doing ours in the North. Perhaps the Eagles will run into them in a bowl someday, but when it comes to regular-season scheduling, there is not much chance we will see this for the foreseeable future.
