Boston College Schedule-A-Team: Cincinnati Bearcats
All-Time History With Boston College: 7 games (4-3-0)
Last Faced: 1997 (Cincinnati wins, 24-6)
Travel (if necessary): Easy by plane. This would be about a two-hour flight from Boston.
Mutual Interest Factor: Probably not a lot. As a former Big East team, Cincinnati comes across as one of the more desirable AAC teams, but it has been 17 years since facing one another.
Intrigue Factor: A bit. This could be an even sort of game if the two teams ever met.
The Verdict: Would schedule home or away.
Cincinnati seems like the kind of team that, given the fact that they are a lot more regional than some of the other teams Boston College has played in recent years, we would play more often. At least, you’d think so within the last 17 years. A home-and-home someday could work.
