2014 Top 6 Most Difficult Boston College Football Games
4. vs. Clemson (October 18)
Imagine that: a ranked team that has won more than its share of games against the Eagles in recent years only cracking number four on the list.
Is it that the schedule is top-heavy or that it really is a difficult slate? Maybe a bit of both.
Clemson has a mini win-streak going on against Boston College, though the Eagles went to Death Valley last season and gave Tajh Boyd and the Tigers a scare before they eventually put the game away late. Similarly, Boston College made Clemson work for their two-touchdown win at Alumni Stadium in 2012 in a season where the Eagles were dreadful overall.
Once more, the series swings up to Boston, and the Eagles are going to be strongly motivated. A win is more on the unlikely side at this point, as Clemson is a legitimate top-three team in the ACC right now, but it is the kind of game where the Eagles could hang around if all goes well.
