2014 Top 6 Most Difficult Boston College Football Games

5. vs. Louisville (November 8)

Bobby Petrino’s neck and pride are apparently healed, and now he’s here to do damage to the Atlantic Coast Conference.

The former Cardinals coach has returned to his former team as they play their first year in a new conference, and amongst their games is a late-season tilt with Boston College.

No Teddy Bridgewater, no problem, as the Vegas bookies have already made Louisville substantial favorites in this game, despite the fact that it is several months away. This game will be tough for Boston College to win no matter who Louisville is playing at quarterback, though not impossible.

If anything, it kind of has the same vibe as the Virginia Tech game from last season, where the media (and enough fans) expected the Eagles to lose to a team that had their number, but that isn’t what happened. It would require significant effort to beat the Cardinals, but it can be done.
