3. 2014 Boston College Football Away Games: Wake Forest, Groves Stadium

BB&T Field and/or Groves Stadium or whatever the corporate sponsors would prefer we call it does have a bit of character with the open lawn adjacent to one of the end zones, making it at least somewhat unique. Duke’s Wallace Wade Stadium has a completely open end on their structure, but it’s also closer to a high school stadium than an ACC venue.

(If it makes Duke fans feel any better, our baseball facilities are barely high school quality.)

Winston-Salem would probably be a somewhat difficult road trip to execute, in that it would be a pricey, indirect flight, or at least 12 hours in the car. Since Notre Dame is out of the question, that might be a good length RV road trip for anyone wanting to do it this Fall, except the game will probably be bland and unremarkable. Just like the rivalry between these two teams.

If this is ahead of NC State, it isn’t by much. It is hard to see many Eagles fans making the trip unless they are relatively local.
