2014 Boston College Linebackers Preview: All The Rest

Our Preview: AJ Caruso, LB
Our Preview: Christian Lezzer, LB
Our Preview: Ty Schwab, LB
Our Preview: Kevin Bletzer, S
Introducing: Noah Penders, LB
Introducing: Hunter Forte, LB

Outside of the junior Caruso, everyone else on the above list is a freshman. One or two of the freshmen could get into a game(s) on special teams or perhaps even for some snaps at linebacker, but otherwise redshirts might be prudent things to come in their future. Their collective times will come, and some players, like Christian Lezzer and Ty Schwab, come from high school with good reputations.

Caruso has not yet made his first appearance for the Eagles during a live game, which is why he was left off the theoretical depth chart, but there could be playing time in his future on special teams.

Aside from being incoming freshmen, Penders and Forte are also new to the Eagles football discussion. Both will most likely become “valuable scout team members.”
