Hilliman, like Outlow, is a slight mystery to Eagles fans entering 2014. He may or may not play, but if he does, his role on the team could be significant.
Jon Hilliman’s commitment to Boston College was a big deal when it happened, and in terms of the level of interest he received on the trail, Hilliman was one of the Eagles’ most noted recruits for 2014. He is a player to watch at Boston College now and in the future.
He is a big guy, almost in the mold of Andre Williams, and could succeed in a similar role. In the event that he does play, nobody would expect that Hilliman will put up video game numbers like Andre did, but it is conceivable that he will play because at his size, Hilliman might serve as a nice complement to Willis.
Both Hilliman and Outlow offer intriguing possibilities for the Eagles offense and are true wild cards.
