An obvious top choice.
This game existed in a vacuum, as the Eagles had done very little winning prior to it and did very little thereafter. In a way, it is ironic that Steve Donahue’s best moment as Eagles coach came within a month of the end of his tenure.
Boston College winning at Syracuse in February was the textbook definition of a fluke, but who cares? Nobody will ever be able to take away from Donahue or the players the fact that they went to the building of the highest-ranked team in the nation and beat them.
