3. February 8, 2012: Boston College Defeats #15 Florida State
In the hell that was the freshman year for the 2011 recruiting class, completely devoid of expectations and almost without wins, the Eagles showed a faint glimmer of hope in early February.
Unexpectedly, the Florida State Seminoles went to Conte Forum, having just risen to #15 in the nation, and found a way to lose to a very bad team. Jordan Daniels led the way as the Eagles took them down, 64-60.
It was the first time in three years the Eagles had beaten a ranked team, and one of only two times during the Donahue era that Boston College would do it.
