Garret Smith
Left BC: 2011
Current assignment: Princeton Rays (Rookie Class, Tampa Bay Rays)
Smith will have to wait a while longer before his 2012 campaign gets underway, but as of now, he is still assigned to the Princeton Rays. He pitched in ten games out of the bullpen last year and was stellar, owning an 0.82 ERA with just one run allowed in 11 innings. Smith earned four saves in 2011 as well.
John Spatola
Left BC: 2010
Current assignment: None
Spatola is still recorded by BC as being a professional baseball player (and MiLB mentions the Bristol White Sox), but as of 2012, he has voluntarily retired from the game. His last team was the Winston-Salem Dash, Class A-Advanced affiliate of the White Sox, where he hit .161 in ten games.
Mickey Wiswall
Left BC: 2010
Current assignment: High Desert Mavericks (Class A+, Seattle Mariners)
This former Eagle All-American begins his 2012 season at Class A-Advanced High Desert in Adelanto, CA. In ten games so far this season, Wiswall is hitting .238 with one homer and 8 RBI to his credit. Wiswall is recently picking up his game, pounding out five hits in his last three games, including three extra-base hits.
Brad Zapenas
Left BC: 2011
Current assignment: Peoria Chiefs (Class A, Chicago Cubs)
Zapenas was promoted from A-Short Season Boise to full Class A Peoria for the 2012 season. So far, in 14 games, he is hitting .239 with 2 RBI. Zapenas hits well against righties, to the tune of a .303 average.
