2.) Will this game be the last time these coaches face each other?
Yes/I hope so. I am of the belief that at least one of these coaches is gone in 2012, and Spaz is the more likely candidate. TOB will probably do what he always does: win just enough games to save his job for another year.
It will, though, be much harder for Gene to defend Spaz having a terrible season — BC’s worst in about 30 years if it ends as badly as it might — with attendance dropping and Flynn Fund donors getting pissed off as well. Deep down, I would not be surprised if both coaches stayed on next season, flying in the face of logic, but it seems that the Spaz regime may be coming to an end if nothing else.
