Quigley, now half-way through his final season here at Boston College, is doing everything he’s been asked to do so far. That, in case you were wondering, is a lot. Boston College’s punter is third in the ACC with 38.5 net yards per punt (39.4 non-net yards per punt) and has already booted it 31 times on the season. It should come as a surprise to nobody that Quigley’s 31 leads the conference.

Quigley also has 12 inside-20 punts this year, which, if it was a statistic officially tracked by the NCAA, would be pretty good.

There have not been many knocks on Quigley’s game so far this year, nor should there be. He has been called upon to kick it away more than his fair share of times and has done an admirable job.
