Boston College at Clemson: 5 Big Questions
By Joe Micik
1.) It’s a trap?
Clemson is coming off of not just one big win, but several. Boston College is the worst team in the ACC and probably the second-worst team in a BCS conference to Oregon State. This has letdown written all over it.
But seriously, just how much of a letdown can it be? These two teams are miles apart right now, and that’s putting it kindly. Clemson would have to play its worst game in a long time to get BC in range, and then BC would have to play well beyond the capability they’ve recently demonstrated to have a shot.
Clemson, if they continue on their current path, are heading for a special season; one might even say they’re having the season FSU was supposed to be having. Yes, they’re Clemson, and they do Clemson-ish things (like losing incomprehensible games), but then you have to remember just how bad our team is. Sure, that’s a huge spread that Clemson might not cover, but losing to BC will be tough, even for them, even if they have a bad day.
