Ranking the 2011 BC football schedule by difficulty, 6th-1st

1.) at Notre Dame
November 19, 2011 | Week 12 | South Bend, IN
Here it is, the hardest game on BC’s 2011 schedule. As much as it pains me to say it, it looks as though the Irish are going to be quite good this year. Like Virginia Tech, winning in South Bend is nothing the Eagles haven’t done before, but given the fact that Notre Dame has improved quite a bit since Brian Kelly took over last year, and recalling the bitchslapping they gave BC at home, I would imagine this will be a really tough contest for the Eagles. The good news is that it would be hard for them to play any worse than they did last year against ND, so I guess there’s that.
I know I’m going to take heat for putting our nemeses at #1, but I would imagine this will be a tough, physical, and exceptionally-challenging game.
The upside to all of this is that if BC has a good season, them there crazy BCS computers are going to love us (maybe). Let’s not get ahead of ourselves, though: this is going to be a tough road and wins, if BC is fortunate enough to rack them up, will be hard to come by. You have to earn every win you get, but this year, the Eagles are going to have to work a little harder than usual. That won’t make it any less fun to watch.
