Farmageddon just got a little bit sweeter thanks to Pop-Tarts.

When Big XII rivals Kansas State and Iowa State take their backyard rivalry on the road to the rolling hills of Ireland, they will be joined by some breakfast treats.

Pop-Tarts will be sending the two 'surviving' members of the first two Pop-Tarts Bowl games to Dublin, Ireland to be part of the Aer Lingus College Football Classic. Expect hilarity and mischief from Frosted Wild Berry and Frosted Hot Fudge Sundae as the Cyclones and Wildcats clash in Week Zero.

"Fans in Dublin can expect the mascots to show up around town and bring Crazy Good shenanigans to the game itself," said Leslie Serro, VP of Marketing for Sweet Snacking/Kellanova. "We know Frosted Cinnamon Roll and Frosted Strawberry — our two previously sacrificed mascots — would be proud."

Pop-Tarts' involvement in this game makes perfect sense when you consider that the first two winners of the Pop-Tarts Bowl are Kansas State in 2023 and Iowa State in 2024. It's unclear if the Pop-Tarts will choose sides and if the winning team gets to enjoy the oversized edible treat as a post-game snack.

You can track Frosted Wild Berry and Frosted Hot Fudge Sundae during their travels through social media accounts CFBIreland (on X) or collegefootballireland (on Instagram).

Kansas State will receive over $2 million for moving Farmageddon

To move Farmageddon from Manhattan, Kansas to Dublin, Ireland came at the bargain cost of $2.2 million . It is the first Big XII matchup in Ireland, and it puts the spotlight on the conference with a nationally-televised audience in Week Zero.

For college football fans, Farmageddon has become a more recent must-see staple of rivalry week in the sport. No one will probably ever confuse the game with the same hype that the Iron Bowl gets, but the annual Kansas State-Iowa State clash has been a fun part of that final Saturday in November for the die-hards. It's sort of like that TV show that gained a cult following.

And who can forget Farmageddon in the snow? Back in 2023, a massive snow storm rolled through Manhattan, but it was nothing compared to what Abu Sama did to the Wildcats' defense. Sama, then a freshman, had 276 yards and three touchdowns on just 16 carries.

There probably won't be any snow on August 23 in Aviva Stadium, but Sama will be in the Cyclones backfield and Irish eyes will be watching.
