Unless you're a wealthy alum who's been getting season tickets for decades, or a current student with tickets in the student section, chances are you'll be hitting the secondary market for college football tickets.

While prices from game-to-game will vary as the season progresses, some fans want to beat the rush and grab up some season tickets. For these 10 schools, the price is pretty steep even for the cheapest set of tickets available, according to data from StubHub.com.

These prices are the cheapest set of season tickets available that are not marked "last tickets"

SOLD OUT (or only a few sets remaining)

Colorado, Notre Dame, FSU, Florida, Ole Miss, and a few other schools are either completely sold out or already down to their last available set, which you'll pay anywhere from $1000-2500 for if you're lucky enough to get them.

No.10: Texas Longhorns - $1,000

While the prices may not seem that high for a national championship contender, you'd better be prepared to sit up high. $1,000 will get you some true nosebleed seats at DKR. Want to be close to the action? Your bank account will be lessened by $4,000-5,000 for every set of seats.

Clemson Tigers - $1,100

The ACC's Death Valley isn't the hot seat it used to be. There are still a lot of sets out there for close to the $1,100 mark, with the most expensive available set at $2,500. If the Tigers are as good as some are predicting this year, individual seats will probably soar by mid-season.

LSU Tigers - $1,150

And in the SEC's Death Valley, Tiger Stadium has a ton of season ticket sets available, with most of them coming in between $1,150 and $1,200. Brian Kelly has all eyes on him this season and it seems ticket holders are skeptical.

Tennessee Volunteers - $1,200

As one of the largest stadiums in the country, Tennessee's Neyland Stadium has more tickets available than most others. However, getting season tickets for the Vols is still an expensive proposition, with upper level corner end zone sets going for $1,200. Lower tier seats on the Tennessee sideline start around $4,000.

Michigan State Spartans - $1,300

Subpar seasons don't seem to dampen the spirits (or wallets) of Michigan State fans. There aren't a lot of sets available, but you can still get some decent seats for around $1,300. The most expensive available set is $2,200

Michigan Wolverines - $1,500

The Big House tickets are going for some big bucks. $1,500 will get you a set of season tickets way back in the end zone corner of the bowl. On the plus side, the most expensive remaining sets still available are just over $2,000.

Oregon Ducks - $1,850

Want to have a guaranteed spot at Autzen Stadium? $1,850 will get you some pretty decent corner end zone seats. There are a couple of sets in the "last tickets" category for around $1,100. Very few available at all in total.

Ohio State Buckeyes - $2,200

National Championships will certainly cause ticket prices to increase, and Ohio State is no exception. While there are a number of season tickets available, the cheapest you'll find are $2,200. After that, the prices take a quick jump up to $4,000 and higher.

Alabama Crimson Tide - $2,500

It figures Alabama would land on this list. Bryant-Denny Stadium is always full, which means season tickets are not only scarce but also expensive. The cheaper seats will run around $1,700 (with very limited numbers available), but most are at $2,500 and more.

Georgia Bulldogs - $2,700

Coming in at number one is Georgia's Sanford Stadium. Georgia can accomodate 93,000 fans in the recently renovated stadium (with expanded concourses, new restrooms and concession areas, premium seating upgrades, and a new press box) but getting in is the trick. There are a few last available sets around $2,000 but most of them start at $2,700 going all the way up to $5,300 a set for 50-yard line sets.
