Fall camp is right around the corner and the expectation is that Carson Beck is going to be fully ready to rock for the Miami football team. He's coming off his serious elbow injury in the SEC Championship Game, but Beck is ahead of his schedule in his recovery.
As it turns out, the veteran signal-caller has a couple more million reasons to put on a show and ball out this upcoming campaign with the Hurricanes. That's because according to On3's Pete Nakos, Beck can actually make up to $6 million with incentives as part of his NIL deal. That's a whole lot more than the $4 million originally reported:
NEW: Miami could pay Georgia transfer QB Carson Beck up to $6M this season, including incentives, @PeteNakos_ reports📈

Carson Beck can make up to $6 million this season with Miami football
Welcome to the new world we live in when it comes to college athletics. We knew that Beck was going to be paid top dollar to play for the Canes in 2025, but it's pretty darn eye-opening that his total compensation could reach $6 million for less than a year of work.
If you're a Miami fan, though, that money is surely going to be worth it if Beck can power the Hurricanes to the College Football Playoff and help the ACC powerhouse reach the National Championship Game. Will he be able to get that job done?
We'll know more on that this winter, but leading up to the new campaign, the hype is sky-high for Beck now that he has traded his Georgia jersey for a Miami one. He was in a prime spot to help UGA go on a deep CFP run, but his serious injury in the SEC title game was a huge bummer for him.
Despite that, he's been on his grind with his rehab and he's fired up to make serious noise for Miami once Week 1 vs. Notre Dame in late August arrives. That's going to be a massive matchup and the rest of the country will be watching that primetime battle.
If Beck delivers, he's going to silence so many of his haters out there. However, if he struggles and the Irish are able to post a dominant victory, countless people will be ready to say Beck is overrated and overpaid, especially now that we know up to $6 million is on the table for him.
