After the disappointing season that Alabama football had in 2024, people were racing to bash head coach Kalen DeBoer. To lose four games at Alabama is something that can never happen - don't forget about the Tide missing out on the CFP too. However, DeBoer has plenty of people believing again thanks to the month he just had.

While it wasn't Georgia and 16 new commits for the 2026 class, DeBoer and the Tide turned plenty of heads by adding 10 new pledges. Things were highlighted by the additions of 5-star running back Ezavier Crowell and 5-star linebacker Xavier Griffin.

It wasn't long ago that the Tide's 2026 class was ranked in the 40s/50s. That's no longer the case, however, as Alabama has skyrocketed up to No. 8 in the country according to 247Sports. Even more good news could be on the way for the Tide on Wednesday as well...

Alabama is hoping to land 5-star WR Cederian Morgan over Auburn on July 2

Countless Alabama fans are going to be glued in front of their laptops on Wednesday afternoon, as 5-star wideout Cederian Morgan will be revealing his college decision at 2 p.m. ET. Morgan is deciding between Alabama, Florida, Auburn, Colorado, Georgia and Clemson.

However, the expectation is that this is going to be a two-team battle between Alabama and Auburn. With Morgan being an Alabama product, both the Tide and Tigers are working overtime to keep him in his home state for his college ball.

Morgan is ranked five stars, the No. 2 WR in the country, No. 1 prospect from Alabama and No. 12 playmaker nationally according to the 247Sports Composite. Throughout his recruitment, the 6-4, 210-pounder has picked up more than 30 offers.

Soon enough, we'll find out if he decides to commit to Alabama or not. If he does, it will give DeBoer yet another 5-star addition for his '26 haul. It was a June to remember for the second-year Alabama coach, but things could get even more electric if Morgan gives him the news he's hoping for.
