Boston College Eagles
This was exactly what Boston College needed. They had been on an unbeaten streak, though all against unranked teams. The Eagles went down the road and beat the number two team in the country in rather convincing fashion, even though the score indicates a close game. Overall, a very solid effort by Boston College hockey in a hostile setting (though dotted with Eagles fans).
As if it was not already obvious, this was easily Boston College’s biggest win of the season to date.
Boston College showed us all what they can do at full strength. This is the best hockey they have played all season, and it is coming at a time when they need it. Things will only get tougher from here, but wins like this will play them into the field. This is no time to stop now.
