The second half of the 2014-15 college hockey season is underway, and as we reveal the January 5 Hockey East power rankings, there is one question to consider: Has the Boston College wave begun?

In the seasons when the Eagles have done well in postseason tournaments, they were typically accompanied by second-half surges. It may be too premature to foretell that, but we can say that Boston College certainly is not getting worse.

How do they stack up compared to the rest of Hockey East this week?
