Boston College Sun Belt Football Schedule-A-Team: New Mexico State Aggies

All-Time History With Boston College: 1 game (1-0-0)
Last Faced: 2013 (BC wins, 48-34)

Travel (if necessary): Last time, it took over three hours to fly out to El Paso, plus about an hour bus ride.

Mutual Interest Factor: Confirmed. The two schools played each other in 2013.

Intrigue Factor: Yet, I do not recall it being intriguing.

The Verdict: Might schedule again for a one-off — but this time, it’s going to be at Alumni Stadium, 28,000 fans in the seats or not.

The Eagles and Aggies met last season, but Boston College gave the home game away and the contest was played in sunny Las Cruces. If these two schools ever tangoed again, Boston College should keep the home game. No more games on Aggievision for us.

Boston College Sun Belt Football Schedule-A-Team: South Alabama Jaguars

All-Time History With Boston College: None
Last Faced: Not applicable

Travel (if necessary): Over two hours but probably not much more than three by plane, depending on where they would have to fly.

Mutual Interest Factor: Zip.

Intrigue Factor: Unless we get shuffled into the Sun Belt someday, none.

The Verdict: Would not go out of my way to schedule; neither would they.

When you have more local teams like Mississippi State and South Carolina calling, there is no reason for you to take a spin at Boston College. Makes no sense to arrange.
