ACC Football Week 13: Hoo Are These People?

Virginia was starting to look awful, sinking all the way to 4-6 on the season after a solid start; when Miami came to town, a week after a close loss against Florida State, the thought was that the Hurricanes would take out their latent frustrations on the Cavaliers.

Or, Miami could pack it in early and get railroaded by Virginia. Whichever.

This was one of the more surprising ACC results of the weekend, as few likely saw this one coming. I guess that’s what we get for having faith in Miami that they have turned the corner and are about to become the team the media always claims they will be.

Virginia held the ball for about 36 minutes and held Miami, who were running all over Florida State with Duke Johnson, to only 64 total yards on the ground.

You know what this means: the Commonwealth Cup between Virginia Tech (5-6) and Virginia (5-6) is a bowl-off. And Virginia could win.
