Boston College Mountain West Football Schedule-A-Team: San Diego State Aztecs

All-Time History With Boston College: None
Last Faced: Not applicable

Travel (if necessary): About six hours by plane to San Diego.

Mutual Interest Factor: Not a whole lot at this point.

Intrigue Factor: San Diego State has a somewhat underrated athletics program; it could have a little.

The Verdict: Would schedule home or away.

Like Boise State might be a good fit but for the distance, so could the Aztecs. In football and basketball, they have had some consistently good teams, and since the Eagles have recruited California in the past in multiple sports, it might be worth it for the two schools to hammer something out someday. Playing SDSU football would not be a “throwaway” game.

Again, distance is a factor, but San Diego would be a great trip.

Boston College Mountain West Football Schedule-A-Team: San Jose State Spartans

All-Time History With Boston College: None
Last Faced: Not applicable

Travel (if necessary): About six hours to the Bay Area.

Mutual Interest Factor: Not applicable.

Intrigue Factor: If you see some, let me know.

The Verdict: Would not go to great lengths to schedule, and neither would they.

Probably nobody from Boston College has any ill will towards the Spartans or their program. SJSU has quite a bit of history with their football team, but in all those years, they have never seen Boston College. Things will stay that way for a good long while.
