Game 9: Boston College-Harvard Hockey Gameday

facebooktwitterreddit

On Harvard hockey gameday for the #8 Boston College Eagles, the home team is looking for good news. Any good news will do.

More from Hockey

Between a key injury and three straight losses, the Eagles have not had much go their way lately. About the only good thing that has happened within the last week is not falling out of the top ten despite having suffered a loss to UConn on Wednesday.

The Eagles will look to get back on track at home tonight against the Harvard Crimson, a team that has only played three games so far this season. Unlike the men’s basketball team, which is owned in perpetuity by the Crimson, Boston College hockey has won nine in a row over Harvard; their last loss to the Crimson on ice came about eight years ago during my own days on the Heights.

Do the Eagles get back in the win column, or do they find themselves in scary territory: below .500?
